Community Health Network implemented PeopleSoft Lease Administration 9.2 in 2017. In 2018, it was determined that the new ASC842 accounting standards change for payables/lessee leases would impact CHN in 2019. In this presentation, we will walk through CHN's planning and approach for tackling the transition from both a business process and PeopleSoft configuration perspective. We will discuss the overall approach; the timeline; the resources required; the project structure; major tasks and activities; success factors and lessons learned. 16 years ago, Weyerhaeuser invested significantly in implementing Manager Self Service.  Other than a facelift in 2007, the design (which includes customizations) has stood the course of time and has remained in many ways a cutting edge approach.  This is the primary generator of job-related transactions in PeopleSoft for Weyerhaeuser.  Usage stands at 80%+ versus phoning the same transactions to our central services team.  In 2017, we created a business case for the same level of investment in moving to fluid MSS and position us for the rest of PS life.  We went live in July 2018.

In 2015 Sagent Pharma Inc. ( a biopharmaceutical company founded in 2007, and now part of the Nichi-Iko Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd since 2016) made a strategic decision to implement JDE 9.1 for their core business. Fast forward to 2018, Sagent decided on upgrading JD Edwards to 9.2, so the new enhancements and support timeline could be utilized. Sagent is currently on a private cloud. Sagent will also discuss what's next for them as they embrace their 9.2 environment and the use of new functionalities.
